The majestic redwood trees can only be found in California and Oregon and here are some great spots for you to find them. Muir Woods National Monument is north of San Francisco and offers a redwood forest with three hiking loops. Rangers offer guided walks and teach you about the forest. Big Basin Redwoods State Park is in the mountains between San Jose and Santa Cruz, and is much less crowded than Muir.
